Compact Zen Balcony Makeover Package
Flooring & Hardscaping
- Base Layer: High-density artificial turf (25mm-35mm pile height) or river pebble combination.
- Walkway: Wooden log slices (10-12 inches diameter) embedded in the turf to create a rustic path.
- Feature Corner: Zen-themed setup with a medium-sized Buddha statue (Resin or Poly-marble) on a riser.
Planters & Greenery
- Wall Elements: 5-8 individual wall-mounted planters (White glossy finish, round/teardrop).
- Floor Pots: 3-4 Medium-sized ceramic or fiber pots (10-12 inch) with tall foliage like Areca Palm or Snake Plant.
- Railing: Set of 2-3 rectangular planters for perimeter greening.
Execution
- Labor: Includes material transport, civil work for fixing pots, and site cleanup.
Vertical Bio-Wall Installation
Hardware System
- Framework: Metal/MS framing structure anchored to the wall holding black Polypropylene (PP) planter modules.
- Irrigation: Integrated inline drip piping (16mm laterals) connected to a single inlet point.
- Drainage: Bottom collection trough/channel to guide excess water away.
Planting Specification
- Density: 10-12 plants per square foot to conceal the plastic backing immediately.
- Varieties: Hardy, texture-rich species suitable for humidity (Syngonium, Philodendron, Ferns, Rhoeo).
Media
- Soil Mix: Lightweight soilless media (Cocopeat, Perlite mix) to minimize weight load on the wall.
Custom Linear Planter Boxes
Fabrication
- Material: Custom linear boxes made of WPC (Wood Plastic Composite) or FRP with laminate or matte finishes to match furniture.
- Waterproofing: Leak-proof lining to ensure no moisture damage to cabinets or flooring beneath.
Maintenance Features
- Self-Watering: Integrated reservoir or wicking system to reduce watering frequency to once every 7-10 days.
Plant Scaping
- Selection: Low-light tolerant, air-purifying varieties (Aglaonema, Pothos, Sansevieria) suitable for indoor AC environments.
- Media: Sterilized potting mix to prevent indoor pests.

My Story
We’re Parnashaad & Co., born out of Mumbai’s madness and its tiny homes. We missed nature, so we decided to bring it back—one plant at a time. For us, it’s more than business. We’ve watched a boring office corner turn lively, a balcony become someone’s coffee adda (hangout). Once, we sent a ‘jungle in a bowl’ from Canada to Mumbai—felt like magic!
