Editorial work is a different beast compared to event makeup. On set, I don't just apply the look and leave; I stay on standby for the entire 8-hour shift, constantly checking the monitors to fix shine, flyaways, or lighting reflections before the director calls for the next shot.
When you're shooting for a campaign or an editorial feature, the camera picks up everything. That's why I bring my specialized editorial kit, which includes everything from face lace and gems to texture-enhancing products that work specifically for flash or continuous video lighting.
