About Editorial & Campaign Looks
Editorial makeup is not about what looks good in a mirror. It is about how the skin, texture, and colors hold up under studio lighting and camera flashes. I focus on skin prep to ensure the base handles the intensity of a long shoot, using products that photograph perfectly without appearing heavy.
Working on set is a team effort. My process starts long before the camera clicks.
The Approach
I treat every face as a fresh canvas. When working on campaigns, I align with the mood board to ensure the makeup supports the wardrobe and the concept. If the shoot calls for clean, modern beauty or dramatic graphic lines, I adjust my techniques to match the brief.
On-Set Details
I use professional-grade kits including Kryolan, MAC, and PAC. These brands are reliable for high-definition shoots where every detail is magnified. My package includes:
- Base prep for long-wear performance.
- Graphic liner application and contouring.
- Continuous monitoring during the shoot for shine or flyaways.
Collaboration
I have worked with ad agencies, fashion designers, and magazines. I am comfortable following a strict creative brief or bringing my own ideas to the table if the vision is still developing.
Travel & Logistics
I am based in Mumbai but I travel across India for projects. Whether you are shooting in a studio in the city or on location in Delhi or Goa, I bring my kit and my commitment to the project.
