About this collection
The best window for these newborn photos is when your baby is between 5 and 15 days old. During this period, babies are still comfortable in those natural, curled-up positions, allowing me to capture these delicate macro shots without interrupting their sleep.
When I work with newborns, my focus shifts entirely to the connection between you and your child. I prefer to keep these sessions calm and quiet, often working in my Jakkur studio with soft, natural lighting that highlights the delicate texture of a newborn's skin rather than relying on complex setups or distracting props.
Because these images rely on such close proximity, safety and patience are my primary concerns. We take breaks whenever your baby needs to feed or be soothed. The goal is to document the raw reality of those first weeks—the way they grip your finger or the way their tiny feet fit in your palms—so you have a physical record of just how small they once were.
I recommend scheduling your session during your second trimester. This ensures we have a tentative date set for when your little one arrives, allowing us to plan the shoot for that ideal 5-to-15-day window without any added pressure.
