A collection of my most impactful moments in the wild. From the forests of Ranthambore to the remote Kamchatka peninsula, these images tell the story of my life behind the lens.
A powerful male tiger, T101, walks directly towards our vehicle in Ranthambore. Capturing a head on perspective like this requires patience and an understanding of animal behavior, which is something I focus on teaching during my tours.
An African elephant silhouetted against the golden hour glow of Amboseli. My expeditions focus on mastering light, and I love guiding participants to create artistic shots like this, moving beyond simple portraits to capture the mood of the landscape.
The incredible sight of a Malabar Pied Hornbill in flight, with the morning sun catching the light through its feathers. This is the kind of dynamic, challenging shot we aim for during my specialized bird photography workshops.
This is the Galaxy Frog, one of the rarest amphibians in the world. Finding and photographing these tiny, out of this world creatures on my macro tours in the Western Ghats is an experience I still have to pinch myself about.
Two young tiger siblings engage in a playful fight in Ranthambore. Witnessing and capturing these intimate, action packed moments of animal behavior is what makes every safari an unforgettable adventure.
A massive orca breaches the surface of the North Pacific Ocean off the coast of Kamchatka. My international marine expeditions offer a chance to witness and photograph the power of ocean giants in their wild habitat.
"A Tiger’s Oasis," my award winning photograph of two tigers by a water's edge in Ranthambore. This image, which was Highly Commended at the DJ Memorial Photography Awards, shows how environmental shots can tell a powerful story.
The piercing blue eyes of a bold leopard in Kabini. Encounters this close and personal are a testament to the incredible wildlife viewing opportunities in the parks I guide in.
This is the raw reality of the wild: the legendary tigress Arrowhead of Ranthambore feeding on a mugger crocodile. Capturing such a rare and powerful event is a reminder of the resilience of nature.
A mother brown bear and her sub adult cub play fighting in the waters of Kuril Lake, Kamchatka. My tours to this remote region focus on capturing these unique behaviors as the bears feast on salmon.
About Featured
Getting the perfect shot is not just about high-end gear, it is about being in the right place with the patience to wait for the animal to reveal itself. Whether I am tracking a tigress in Ranthambore or waiting for brown bears in Russia, the goal remains the same: capturing the raw, scientific reality of the wild rather than just a pretty picture.
These images represent the core of what I do. They span from the dense jungles of the Western Ghats, where I hunt for rare amphibians like the Galaxy Frog, to the wide-open savannahs of Kenya and the rugged coastline of Kamchatka. Each frame is a lesson. When I lead tours, we are not just ticking off a checklist of species. We focus on light, behavior, and the environment. You might be learning off-camera flash for a macro shot of a viper one week, and mastering panning techniques for a bird in flight the next. These workshops are small, usually capped at four participants, because I want to ensure you get real, hands-on time with me in the field. We deal with the realities of nature, from the heat and mud to the early mornings and the long waits, but that is exactly where the magic happens. If you are looking to move beyond simple portraits and start telling stories with your camera, I would love to show you how.
