These images are my 'keeper' shots—the ones that represent the culmination of hours of silence in a safari jeep. You will notice a mix of wide habitat shots and intimate portraits here. Whether it is a tiger's glare or a flamingo's reflection, I shoot with my Sony 200-600mm lens to get close enough to see the fine details, while staying far enough back that the animals remain completely undisturbed.
Nature doesn't follow a schedule, and that is exactly why I love it. This collection is a summary of the wild surprises I have encountered, ranging from the tiger reserves of Tadoba and Pench to the quiet wetlands of Navi Mumbai.
My Approach to Wildlife
I believe the best wildlife photography happens when you are invisible. My process is simple: I get into the field, whether it is a forest trail or a mud track, and I wait. It is rarely about chasing the animal; it is about being patient until the animal reveals itself. You might see a tiger in these photos, but what you don't see are the hours of waiting in a jeep, watching for pugmarks, and listening to the alarm calls of langurs.

- Avian & Macro: From the vibrant crest of a Malabar Flameback woodpecker to the complex behavior of shore crabs, I love capturing the details that most people drive right past.
- Environmental Portraits: Sometimes the story isn't just the animal, but the animal in its home. I try to frame the light, the rain, and the foliage to show why these habitats are worth protecting.

Every time I pack my camera, my goal is to document the wild as it truly is. I don't use bait or playback sounds to get a reaction.
