A curated look at my journey through India’s wild spaces, from the stealthy leopards of Rajaji to the delicate macro details found in our local urban forests.

A direct and powerful portrait of Riddhi, a tigress from Ranthambore, as she walks towards me. Capturing the intense gaze of these magnificent big cats is a moment of pure adrenaline and respect.

A perfect portrait of the vibrant Indian Pitta, also known as 'Navrang' for its nine colours. This shot highlights its stunning green, blue, and red plumage, a true jewel of the Indian forests.

A tender moment between an elephant mother and her calf at a waterhole in Rajaji National Park. This image captures the strong bond and protective nature that is so central to elephant family life.

The Peregrine Falcon, the fastest animal on Earth, captured in a rare moment of stillness after a bath. Its fierce expression and powerful stance show the intensity of this incredible bird of prey.

A male leopard patrols his territory along a dry riverbed in Rajaji National Park. This photograph showcases the raw power and stealth of one of India's most elusive and adaptable big cats.

A Red-billed Leiothrix takes a bath on a chilly morning in Sattal, creating a perfect reflection. This image captures the delicate beauty and vibrant colours of Himalayan birdlife.

An Indian Spectacled Cobra in its classic defensive hooding posture. This shot, taken at a safe distance in Sultanpur National Park, reveals the intimidating beauty and patterns of one of India's most venomous snakes.

The magnificent Indian Peafowl, our national bird, displaying its full train of feathers. This image from Bhondsi Nature Park captures the iridescent blue and green hues that make this bird a symbol of grace and beauty.

A macro shot of a Scarlet Skimmer dragonfly, revealing its intricate compound eyes and delicate wing structure. This is my first attempt at macro photography, showing the hidden world of insects in stunning detail.

About Featured

Every frame you see here represents hours of patience, whether I am waiting for a tiger’s movement in the grasslands of Corbett or holding perfectly still for a macro insect shot at Sunder Nursery. If you want to capture shots like these, the secret is not just having the right gear. It is knowing exactly where to position yourself, understanding the light, and having the discipline to stay silent until the subject reveals itself.

Behind the Lens

My work is an attempt to show you the hidden beauty of the natural world. Butterflies cannot see their own wings, but through photography, we can. My portfolio spans the raw intensity of big cats in Ranthambore to the vibrant colours of a Navrang (Indian Pitta) in the forest.

Field Experience & Locations

I do not just shoot in one place. My office changes with the season. I spend my time in:

  • The Big Forests: Tracking tigers and elephants in Corbett, Rajaji, and Pilibhit.
  • Wetlands & Grasslands: Capturing raptors and water birds at Sultanpur and Bhondsi.
  • Macro Hotspots: Exploring the tiny, intricate details of dragonflies and insects right here in Delhi NCR.

My Approach to Wildlife Photography

Photography is my way of connecting with the wild, and I believe it is a powerful tool for conservation. Whether I am using my Nikon D500 for a distant leopard or my OM-1 for macro work, my focus is always on the subject's behaviour. I do not just chase the 'perfect shot'. I chase the story.

How You Can Learn

I do not keep these techniques to myself. I lead wildlife photography tours that take you into the field, handling the permits and logistics so you can focus on the camera. I also run practical nature walks in Delhi NCR, where I teach you how to spot subjects, handle light, and correct your framing on the spot. If you want to move beyond basic settings and start capturing the soul of the forest, come join me on a walk or a safari.

I am the one usually covered in dust, waiting behind a lens for that split-second interaction between a tiger and its habitat. Whether I am guiding a photography tour in Sattal or leading a photo walk in Delhi, my focus remains the same: helping you see the wild magic that is right in front of us.
