We don't just supervise playtime; we actively watch for the 'cuddle bugs' who prefer a lap to a race. Whether your dog is a high-energy Boxer who turns into a lap dog the moment they see a human, or a shy rescue needing a gentle hand to feel safe, we tailor our interactions. Our team is trained to read those subtle cues, knowing exactly when a dog needs an extra chin scratch, a quiet moment of connection, or just a friendly face to lean on.
Personal affection isn't just a bonus at PetStepin'; it is central to how we run things. Because we operate a cage-free, communal environment on our half-acre Rustam Bagh grounds, our staff is constantly moving among the dogs. This proximity means we aren't just observing from the sidelines. We are right there on the red soil, sitting with those who want to rest, giving ear rubs, and engaging with the ones who crave human interaction.
For our feline guests, we provide a completely separate, dog-free zone in our Kitty Kabins. This allows us to give cats the specific, quiet, one-on-one time they need without the stress of barking or high-energy dog play.
We know that every pet has a different 'love language.' Some of our regulars will sprint to us for roughhousing and wrestling, while others will quietly nudge a hand for a pet before retreating to the shade. We respect these boundaries. If a dog needs space, they get it. If they are looking for a cuddle, they get that too. Our goal is to ensure that when you drop your baby off, they feel like they are staying with family rather than being left at a facility.
