Capturing the raw spirit and grace of horses in their natural element, far away from stiff studio lights.

A portrait of a young Kathiawadi colt, showcasing the breed's unique heart-shaped, curling ears. My passion lies in documenting the heritage and distinct beauty of indigenous Indian horse breeds.

Another look at the curious Kathiawadi colt, Jaam. His alert expression and distinctive ears, which curve inwards to touch, are a hallmark of this incredible Indian horse breed.

A beautiful pinto horse stands among the trees, framed by the deep green foliage of the forest. I use natural light and surroundings to create timeless, painterly equine portraits like this one.

Peeking through the leaves, this horse seems to be a natural part of the forest landscape. My goal is to capture animals in their element, creating authentic and soulful images.

A moment of pure magic as a pinto horse watches a blue butterfly flutter by. These are the unscripted, poetic scenes I live to capture, blending the beauty of wildlife and equine grace.

This short video clip shows the calm and majestic presence of a pinto horse in a lush, green forest. It highlights the serene atmosphere I strive to create during my outdoor equine photoshoots.

Capturing a horse in full gallop is like capturing freedom itself. This action shot shows a spirited mare running through an open field, her mane flying in the wind, embodying pure, untamed energy.

A dynamic video showcasing the five-year-old mare, Heeran, as she runs freely. This compilation of action shots highlights her power, grace, and the beauty of a horse in motion.

A tender moment between two horses in a field, showing the strong social bonds within a herd. These interactions reveal the gentle and communal nature of these magnificent animals.

A powerful image showing the gentle strength of a pregnant mare standing beside a small pony. This photograph tells a story of resilience and the quiet power inherent in the female spirit.

About Majestic Equine Portraits

I do not believe in forcing horses into stiff, unnatural poses. My approach is entirely patience-led, giving your horse time to settle, sniff, and feel comfortable before I even pick up the camera. Whether it is at a stable or an open field in Mumbai, I prioritize their ease, capturing their spirit when they are truly relaxed, not just when they are standing still.

Being a rider myself, I know that great animal photography starts long before the shutter clicks. My process is rooted in non-violent communication and building a foundation of trust. If you are looking for stiff, forced photography, I might not be the right person for you. I look for the soul in the frame—the way their ears prick up when they hear a bird, the power in their stride as they run, and the quiet bond between a rider and their horse.

When we shoot, whether at your stable or in a nature trail around Mumbai, the session stays relaxed. I focus on fine-art equine portraits where we remove distracting elements like leashes, lunge lines, and fences during post-processing to create a clean, cinematic finish. I especially love working with indigenous Indian breeds like the Marwari and Kathiawadi. Their distinctive features, like those heart-shaped, curving ears, deserve to be captured in settings that feel as wild and free as they are. Whether you want a classic portrait, action shots of your horse running at liberty, or intimate moments between you and your partner, we will make it happen at a pace the horse is happy with.

I’m a rider first and a photographer second, so I know that horses are partners, not props. My camera only comes out once they trust me, ensuring we get shots of their natural spirit and movement, not just a static frame.
