About Behind the Magic: Our Process
We believe you should see exactly what you are getting before the first balloon goes up. Every project starts with a custom mood board and, where necessary, digital mockups. We align on specific balloon shades, prop placement, and signage details long before we step foot in your venue. This preparation saves time on event day and ensures your party setup matches your expectations, not just our guesses.
Our process is built on clear communication and careful planning, not just decoration. Here is how we move from a simple idea to a finished setup:
The Consultation and Concept
It all starts with a conversation. Whether you are planning an intimate baby shower or a large-scale corporate event, I want to know the vibe. We discuss color palettes, the venue layout, and any specific themes you have in mind. I love hearing your ideas, but I also provide input on what works well for your specific space.
Designing the Vision
Once we have a direction, I create a mood board. This is where we finalize the balloon colors, the types of props, and the lighting requirements. If the project requires complex 3D structures or large sculptures, we map out the design so you can visualize the scale of the installation. This stage is crucial for ensuring that every element, from the neon signs to the floral accents, feels cohesive.
The Build Day
On the day of your celebration, my team arrives 2-3 hours early. We start with the 'hero' elements—the primary backdrop or the large-scale props—before layering in the organic balloon garlands. We are sticklers for professional techniques like double-stuffing balloons to achieve those rich, custom matte shades that don't look transparent or flimsy.
Sustainability in Practice
Because sustainability is at the heart of Partylicious, we are intentional about the materials we use. We prioritize biodegradable latex balloons and reusable props. We are not here to leave a mountain of trash behind. Our goal is to create high-impact decor that looks incredible but leaves minimal footprint. By the time you and your guests arrive, the chaotic hustle of tape, pumps, and ladders is gone, replaced by a stress-free space ready for your celebration.
