Behind the Scenes: Our Wedding Decor Process
Magic is rarely an accident. It is the result of messy sketches, late-night planning, and finding the perfect floral rhythm to match your story. This is how we build your wedding vision from the ground up.
The first layer of 'Mantram'. This mood board was our starting point, combining the concept of a Sanskrit-inscribed arch with a soft pink color palette and traditional brass elements to create a sacred, rhythmic theme.
From mood board to mandap. This video shows the journey of our 'Mantram' wedding, from the behind-the-scenes setup to the final, divine result. It’s a reminder that when the love is divine, the decor must be too.
Because some stories are chanted into being. A little peek into the making of 'Mantram', from the chaotic BTS moments to the final, breathtaking setup. Every single detail was worth it.
The mood board for our 'Sunny Side Up' Haldi. We envisioned a playful twist on tradition, mixing the golden glow of turmeric with cheerful citrus tones, geometric shapes, and whimsical florals.
More inspiration for the 'Sunny Side Up' Haldi, focusing on the architectural elements and the combination of vibrant florals with striped patterns for a fresh, modern feel.
The initial mood board for the 'Suryatva' Tilak ceremony. We wanted to break norms with a divine yet fun theme, using a rich color palette of blues, reds, and greens with a bold floral pattern.
Developing the 'Suryatva' theme further with arched panels and hanging floral concepts. This board helped us visualize how the different patterns and colors would come together in the space.
The mood board for 'Whispers of the Orient'. This theme was all about Japanese elegance, combining the gentle charm of cherry blossoms and hand fans with a serene color palette of pink, blue, and green.
More visual inspiration for 'Whispers of the Orient', focusing on the structural elements like the draped ceiling and the delicate beauty of painted scrolls and cherry blossom branches.
The concept for our 'Sunny Sway Soirée'. The mood board captured a vibrant, cheerful ambiance, blending the brightness of a sunny day with bohemian elegance and cute Coachella-inspired details.
About From Dream to Reality: Our Process
We start every project with a digital moodboard that does more than show pretty pictures. It maps out the light at your venue, the specific density of marigolds or roses we need, and how we can weave in family traditions like Sanskrit verses or custom signage. By the time we step onto the site, we already know how the space will feel.
I believe that the best decor is born from the storm before the calm. My process is never about taking a template and forcing your wedding into it. Instead, we spend time understanding your story. Are we channeling the Coachella energy of a Mehendi, or the divine stillness of a traditional wedding?
We start with a deep dive into what you love. I sketch out structural elements like mandaps or entrance arches, and then we layer in the flowers. As a certified floral designer, I am obsessed with the details. Whether it is sourcing the right brass vessels for table centerpieces or deciding on the exact shade of fabric for a lounge pocket, nothing is random.
When we get on-site, the 'soulful chaos' begins. There is a lot of hard work involving fabrication teams, light technicians, and floral artists. We might be adjusting a floral chandelier at 2 AM or tweaking the lighting to ensure the studio-quality photos you want actually happen. It is sweaty, it is messy, and it is entirely worth it when we see the space transform into a reflection of your personality. If you want a team that cares about the 'why' as much as the 'what', let's talk.
