About this collection
The most important thing to know is that terrazzo isn't a one-size-fits-all product. I divide my work into four distinct series so you aren't just choosing a color, but a texture that matches how you live. Whether you prefer the subtle, earthy feel of Indian natural stone or the sharp, modern contrast of brass inlays and glass aggregates, the choice is yours, and I am here to ensure that choice fits your space perfectly.
How to Choose Your Series
I have streamlined my material library into four series to make the selection process easier:
- Series A (Standard): This is where it all begins. It features Indian natural stone aggregates like marble and granite chips. It is classic, durable, and connects directly to the terrazzo floors you might remember from a childhood home.
- Series B (Vibrant): I use recycled and colored glass aggregates here. This series is for when you want transparency, pop-colors, and a more modern look that catches the light.
- Series C (Textured): We move away from high-gloss here. These surfaces are finished with a leather or brushed touch, giving them a non-glossy, tactile feel that invites you to reach out and touch them.
- Series D (Premium): The most artistic option. This includes Venetian chunks, large imported stone, and custom metallic brass or copper inlays. This is where we create art pieces for your floor or tabletop.
The Sampling Process
Because we mix everything by hand, I believe in sampling. You pick the aggregates and colors, and I create a test cast. We adjust the mix until the color and the 'feel' are exactly what you had in mind. It takes time, but it ensures that what we install is truly yours.
Whether you need this for flooring, wall cladding, or a kitchen countertop, the finish—polished, honed, or textured—is part of the decision. Don't just look at the colors; think about how the surface feels under your feet or hands.
Parman Designs
My work is not just about tiles or slabs; it is about keeping stories alive, like the terrazzo floors you might remember from your childhood home. I handle the mixing, casting, and polishing myself, ensuring every piece reflects the character you want to bring into your space.
