Redefining Learning Through Play
Welcome to our world of unhurried, curiosity-driven education. We believe that when children feel safe and happy, learning happens naturally and deeply.
This is what pure, uninhibited joy looks like. We believe every child has a right to play freely, to get messy, and to connect with the world through their senses. Moments like these, splashing in a mud puddle on one of our Adventure Days, are not just fun; they are essential for building resilience, curiosity, and a lifelong love for exploration.
Watch as our Micro School learners bring their own Scribble Bots to life. Using simple motors, batteries, and cups, they explore circuits, motion, and abstract art all at once. This is STEAM learning in action: hands-on, curiosity-driven, and a perfect blend of science, technology, and creativity.
This is the culmination of months of exploration at our Micro School. On Display Day, our learners confidently share their projects, interview each other on complex topics, and articulate their findings to our parent community. Hearing their thoughtful perspectives and seeing their growth is a powerful reminder of what’s possible when children lead their own learning.
Learning isn't confined to a classroom. On our Adventure Days, we take learning into the real world. Here, our Kindergarteners get a hands-on look under the hood of a car, sparking countless questions about how things work. These experiences make learning tangible, memorable, and incredibly exciting.
Our annual Flea Market is a highlight at the Micro School, where learners become entrepreneurs for a day. They create products, manage stalls, handle money, and donate a portion of their earnings to a cause they choose. It’s a powerful, real-world lesson in project management, financial literacy, and community responsibility.
A glimpse into our gentle Parent-Toddler sessions. This program is a calm, cozy space for our youngest learners, from 10 months to 3 years, to explore alongside their parents. Through sensory play, music, and stories, we create a nurturing environment for you and your child to connect and discover together.
Welcome to our Cambridge Layout Kindergarten. We designed this space to be an invitation to play, with structures that encourage movement, risk-taking, and imagination. A beautiful, safe, and stimulating environment is the foundation for a joyful day of learning.
About this collection
You will not find rote learning or rigid desks here. We follow a Scandinavian model where your child is encouraged to lead their own discovery, whether that means getting muddy on an Adventure Day or building complex circuits in our Micro School. If you are looking for a community that values your child's emotional wellbeing just as much as their academic growth, this is the environment we have built for you.
Our Approach
Our education model is built on the belief that play is a fundamental right. We offer an unhurried day where the child is the guide, not the follower. This allows for genuine curiosity and deeper engagement with the world around them.
Programs Across Bangalore
- Parent-Toddler Play (Domlur): A calm, cozy space for your little ones aged 10 months to 3 years to explore, connect, and socialize in a safe environment.
- Kindergarten (Frazer Town & Cambridge Layout): We focus on full-day, project-based learning. Kids dive deep into themes like transport or the human body, learning through hands-on activity rather than lectures.
- Micro School (Kumara Park): Designed for primary students seeking an alternative to the traditional system. We align with the IGCSE framework but use real-world projects like running student-led flea markets to teach responsibility, financial literacy, and critical thinking.
Why Parents Join Our Community
We replace standard testing with 'Display Days,' where children share their findings with parents, and 'Adventure Days,' where learning moves outside the walls of the school into the real world. Whether your child is painting like Picasso or fixing things in a garage, we ensure they feel like they belong here. Our environment is carefully designed to foster resilience, independence, and a lifelong love for exploration.
Papagoya
I’m Helen, and I started Papagoya because I believe schools should be places where kids feel safe, not evaluated. We trade rote lessons for meaningful play, ensuring every child feels like they truly belong here.
