The Grind: Serious Powerlifting Training & Lifestyle

Strength isn't given, it's earned. This is where the real work happens—accessory training, technique building, and the grit behind the big numbers.

Nothing is over until you stop trying. The physique is a byproduct of the strength we build.

People ask why I'm building a body when I'm a powerlifter. Strength and physique go hand in hand.

Building a strong upper back with 220kg shrugs. Accessory work is crucial for big lifts.

A moment of focus in the gym, my second home.

Trying Zercher squats for the first time. We are always experimenting with new ways to get stronger.

Hydration is key to recovery and performance.

Taking a moment to rest between sets. The gym is where I find my peace.

About this collection

You won't find flashy gym machines here. I focus on heavy accessory work—like 50kg dumbbell rows and massive shrugs—because that is what builds the foundation for a 351kg deadlift. If you think bodybuilding and powerlifting are separate worlds, you are wrong, because size is just the byproduct of moving raw iron.

Most people mistake powerlifting for just bench, squat, and deadlift, but they miss the accessory work. In my studio in Najafgarh, we do not do timepass. I focus on technique-driven work that translates to raw strength. If you are struggling with a plateau, it is likely because your supporting muscle groups are weak. I train you like I train myself. We use calibrated plates, combo racks, and precise programming to make sure every session counts.

Whether you are coming to my gym in Delhi for hands-on spotting or following my custom online Excel charts, the goal is the same: hit bigger numbers. I am a vegetarian lifter, so I know exactly how to manage recovery and nutrition without fancy, overpriced supplements. I will tell you exactly what you need to fix: 'Kamar tight karo, chest up raho.' Stop making excuses and start working. If you have the madness for this, I am here to help you turn it into gold medals.

Main Pankaj Tyagi hu. I don't believe in big talk, my record of 351kg deadlift says it all. This is for those with true junoon for powerlifting, not for casual gym-goers.
