About Storytelling with Sand Art
I use a light table to weave visuals into stories that unfold right before your guests' eyes. Whether it is a corporate journey or a couple's love story, the sand moves to create scenes that capture emotions instantly. It is a live performance designed to be felt in the moment, making it a powerful highlight for any wedding, Sangeet, or corporate stage.
My sand art process is about more than just drawing; it is about rhythm and timing. I work with fine sand on a back-lit table, manipulating grains to create faces, landscapes, and narratives that fade into the next scene.
How I Perform
For live events, I need a dark space and a projector or a large LED screen so that everyone in the audience can see the sand movements clearly. If you have a specific story in mind, like a couple's journey from their first meeting to their wedding day, we discuss the narrative flow weeks before the show. I plan the scene transitions to match the music or the speech playing in the background.
Beyond Live Stages
If you do not want a live performance, I also create custom sand art video tributes. These are perfect for playing during events when a live setup is not possible. I record the entire storytelling process in my Mumbai studio, editing it into a polished video that you can play on your big screen.
Travel and Logistics
While I am based in Mumbai, I travel across India for performances. Since sand art is delicate and requires specific lighting, I generally arrive a few hours early to set up my light table and coordinate with your AV team. Whether it is a corporate function for brands like Yes Bank or a private Sangeet, I ensure the setup is seamless so the focus remains entirely on the art.
