Signature Sand Art Storytelling (Live Projection)
Pre-Event Preparation
- Custom Storyboarding: Consultation to script the narrative arc (e.g., Couple's history or Company timeline).
- Audio Prep: Selection and editing of background music to sync with the visual transitions.
On-Site Performance
- Duration: 15 to 20 minutes of continuous live art.
- Equipment: Artist provides the specialized light box, overhead camera rig, and HDMI output feed.
- Manpower: Includes the artist and a technical assistant for camera/music cues.
Client Requirements (Not Included)
- AV Setup: You must provide the Projector, LED Wall, or Plasma Screens and Sound System. The artist provides the video signal only.
High-Energy Speed Painting (Upside-Down Reveal)
The Act
- Style: Theatrical speed painting performed to high-tempo music.
- Technique: Often painted upside down with a rotational reveal at the end.
- Subject: Single large portrait (CEO, Bride/Groom, Celebrity, or Deity) or Brand Logo.
Logistics & Materials
- Canvas: One large-format canvas (approx. 4ft x 5ft).
- Paints: Fast-drying professional acrylics.
- Protection: Floor drop cloths provided to prevent paint spatter.
Deliverable
- Artwork: The finished painting is gifted to you immediately after the performance.
Glitter & Glue Mystery Reveal
The Concept
- Visual: The artist paints on a black canvas using invisible adhesive, keeping the audience guessing.
- The Reveal: A sudden shower of glitter (Gold/Silver) reveals the portrait or logo instantly.
- Duration: 5 to 8 minutes.
Technical Details
- Canvas: 4ft x 5ft Black Canvas for high contrast.
- Safety: Extensive floor masking to contain glitter dust.
- Outcome: The glitter-encrusted artwork is treated with a fixative and handed over to you as a souvenir.
Live Wedding/Event Canvas Painting
The Service
- Duration: 4 to 6 hours of live painting presence at the venue.
- Subject: Captures the atmosphere, decor, and key people (e.g., The Varmala, Pheras, or First Dance).
- Interaction: Guests can observe the artistic process close up.
Deliverables
- Artwork: One acrylic painting on standard canvas (approx. 24 x 36 inches).
- Completion: Painting is finished 90-95 percent on-site; final touches (varnishing) may be done off-site if required.
- Setup: Includes portable easel and art supplies.

Every Event, Ek Nayi Kahani
Art, for me, is more than brushstrokes or sand on a lightbox - it’s about making stories come alive in real time. I travel all over India, bringing my stage to corporate galas, family get-togethers, and weddings. Each show I do is different because every event deserves its own kahani (story).
Types of Live Art I Do
- Sand art live performance: I shape stories grain by grain, with visuals flowing on a lightbox, backed by music or voiceover. Whether it’s a couple’s journey or a brand's story, I make it personal.
- Speed painting entertainment: Fast, energetic, and always a crowd-pleaser. Sometimes I flip the painting at the end for that “wow” moment.
- Glitter painting reveal: I paint with invisible glue, and at the finale, a cascade of glitter unveils the image. Works great for logo reveals or surprises.
- Live wedding painting: I paint moments like the pheras (sacred wedding vows) as they happen. Guests get to see the canvas evolve, and you keep the painting forever.

Namaste, Omprakash here. Some call me Sand Artist, some Speed Painter, some Storyteller – sab ek hi baat hai (all the same thing). Art is my prayer.
