Why I Paint
Art for me is about connection. Portraits go way beyond just looks - they hold stories, memories, sometimes even a bit of magic. Apni kala se main dil se jodta hoon (I connect from the heart through my art). Whether it’s a couple’s first anniversary or a tribute to someone special, painting these moments gives me that extra kick.
What I Offer
- Studio Portraits: Send me your favourite photo and I’ll turn it into personalized portrait artwork. I work in three styles: classic oil painting from photo for that rich, timeless look, dot art portrait in black pen (thousands of tiny dots, very detailed), or loose contemporary sketches with pen, ink, and a hint of colour.
- Live Event Painting: Want something different at your event? I do live wedding painting and event speed painting, right as things are happening. I’ve done live phera paintings at weddings, speed portraits at corporate events, even painted upside-down for a big reveal.
How It Works
- For studio pieces, you just send me a good photo. I paint from my space in Mumbai, and the final piece is yours.
- For live art, I travel from Mumbai to Surat and nearby. I set up, paint during your event, and you walk away with a unique memory.
Yeh sab ek nayi kahani hai har baar (It’s a new story every time) - sometimes it turns out perfect, sometimes it’s raw and real. That’s the beauty.

My Story
Namaste, Omprakash here. Some call me Sand Artist, some Speed Painter, some Storyteller – sab ek hi baat hai (all the same thing). Art is my prayer.
