About Destination Diaries: Dubai, Goa & Mumbai

When I shoot at a new destination like Dubai or a coastal spot in Goa, I focus on the interplay between natural light and the local landscape to define your portraits. I rely on my Fujifilm setup and prime lenses to achieve that clean, cinematic look, ensuring we capture genuine emotion without forcing awkward poses, even when working in crowded or unfamiliar locations.

Destination photography is more than just booking a flight. It is about understanding how to use a city's unique geometry and light to tell your specific story. Whether we are chasing the desert sunset in Dubai or finding the quiet corners along the Mumbai coastline, I handle the logistics so you can focus on the moment.

My Approach to Destination Shoots

  • Cinematic Storytelling: I treat every session as a film. This means using a mix of wide shots for scale and tight, candid frames to capture the intimacy of your bond. I carry my own gear to ensure consistency across locations, from the desert to the shore.
  • Lighting and Timing: I plan our shoots around the local 'Golden Hour' of each city. The light in Dubai behaves differently than the light on a Goan beach, and I adjust my techniques accordingly to keep your skin tones natural and the background vivid.
  • Logistics & Comfort: For destination events, I prioritize efficient movement. I work with a compact, agile team to stay unobtrusive, allowing us to move between locations quickly and capture those spontaneous moments without the weight of a massive production setup.

If you have a location in mind that isn't on my list, let me know. I am always looking for new backdrops that provide the right mood for your shoot.
