What I Do
I capture way more than just faces. Every portrait is meant to feel like a scene—a vibe, not just a frame. With Shiva in my soul and Banaras in my blood, I bring that energy whether we’re shooting by the ghats, under city lights, or in a studio.
My Approach
It’s all about the mood. Confidence, elegance, raw emotion—your story comes first. I mix bold colours with soulful black & white emotion shots, aiming for that cinematic portrait lighting. Sometimes it’s clean and classic, sometimes it’s wild and dramatic. You get to choose your vibe.
Types of Sessions
- Individual portraits: From ‘Queen Vibe’ shots to timeless individual headshots. Studio setups or locations that matter to you.
- Lifestyle & travel: If you want Banaras ghats, Mumbai skyline, or Goa beaches, I’m game. I call my Banaras work “Rabt Banaras”—it’s all about the connection.
- Creative shoots: Double exposure photography, dramatic shadow play, conceptual themes like Holi or Radha-Krishna. Bring your ideas, I’ll bring the magic.
Signature Style
Bold, cinematic, and powerful. My process often includes a creative team—MUAs, stylists, whatever it takes. I’m based between Varanasi, Mumbai, and Jaipur, but I shoot all over India and abroad. Every image is a partnership, built together. Sometimes we nail it, sometimes we experiment and get messy, but it’s always real.

My Story
I’m Nikhil, always chasing a story with my camera. Banaras is my home, but my heart’s split between Mumbai’s madness and Jaipur’s royal corners. Shiva in my soul, Banaras in my vibe – that’s me. I shoot what feels real, whether it’s the ghats, a wedding in Dubai, or the rush of a celebrity concert. Seven years official photographer for IMS-BHU fest, but still excited every time I click. Travel, shoot, repeat.
