Candid Portraits and Delhi Street Scenes

Forget stiff poses. Just natural light, real expressions, and some of my favorite corners of Delhi.

A moody portrait taken on a dark staircase. I love using shadows and ambient light to create a sense of atmosphere and focus on the subject's expression.

This is a landscape-oriented portrait, which gives a different, more cinematic feel. The subject's dynamic pose and the moody color grade make this shot stand out.

A strong portrait taken against the setting sun. The golden hour light creates a beautiful flare and warm tones, highlighting the subject's silhouette and features.

A peaceful scene from Sunder Nursery, with a person on a wheelchair enjoying the autumn colors. This photo is about finding tranquility and beauty in everyday moments.

About Additional Portraits & Scenes

I shoot exclusively with a Sony A6100 and Sigma prime lenses, which means we work entirely with natural light. I do not use strobes or artificial lighting, so we will plan your session around the golden hour or daylight hours at spots like Sunder Nursery or Humayun's Tomb for that specific moody background blur.

How I Work

Photography is my break from MBA classes, so I keep things chill. I do not do stiff, posed sessions. We will walk around, talk, and I will click you when you are not looking at the camera. That is usually when the best stuff happens.

What to Expect

  • My Gear: I carry a Sony A6100 with Sigma 30mm or 56mm lenses. These are great for portraits because they create that soft background bokeh you see in my gallery.
  • The Vibe: I edit with a moody, cinematic tone in Lightroom. No plastic skin, no heavy airbrushing. Just color correction and keeping the textures real.
  • Location: I love heritage sites and city parks. If you have a specific spot in mind in Delhi or NCR, let me know. Note that if we go to places with entry fees, that is on you.

A Quick Heads-Up

Since I am a student, I am not a high-speed studio. Editing takes me between 7 and 14 days, especially during exam season. If you need photos back in 24 hours, I am not your guy. But if you are cool waiting for something that feels authentic rather than a stock photo, let us talk.

I am Nikhil. Just a regular guy juggling MBA classes and a camera. I do not chase perfect shots; I chase the real ones—the candid laughs, the quiet moments, and the vibe of Delhi.
