My Featured Photography Work: Real Moments & Natural Light
Welcome to my highlight reel. This is just me, my camera, and the honest, unfiltered moments I’ve found around Delhi while balancing my MBA life.
This shot from a Qutub Minar session is one of my favorites. We arrived early to catch the morning light and the quiet atmosphere, and the flock of pigeons taking flight was a perfect, unplanned moment. It’s this kind of spontaneous magic I love to capture in my portrait photography.
A simple, joyful portrait session in one of Delhi's beautiful gardens. My focus here was on using the natural light and vibrant colors of the flowers to complement her bright personality, creating a relaxed and authentic lifestyle photo.
This was a completely spontaneous moment at India Gate. It captures the fun, carefree vibe I aim for in my shoots. It’s not about posing, it’s about living in the moment and letting me capture the memory.
Capturing pure, unfiltered joy like this is why I love photography. This candid moment between a pet parent and her golden retriever at PetFed Delhi shows the real connection that you just can't stage. These are the memories I want to freeze for you.
A quiet moment during a relaxed couple photography session at Sunder Nursery. I use wide shots like this to show the connection between people and the beautiful spaces they're in, creating a feeling of peaceful intimacy.
The energy at Comic Con is incredible, and I love capturing the details and passion of cosplay artists. This is a close-up portrait that highlights the artist's expression and the intricate details of her costume, shot amidst the event's hustle.
I enjoy finding unique backdrops in urban settings. This portrait uses the interesting texture of a newspaper-paneled door to create a stylish, modern look. It shows how we can get creative even in a simple city spot.
Playing with light and shadow can create a really dramatic and intimate mood. This portrait was taken as the sun went down, using a single light source to create a striking, low-light shot that feels completely different from a bright, daytime photo.
About Featured
If you are curious about the gear and process, I keep it simple. I shoot with a Sony A6100 and Sigma primes, strictly using natural light. You will not find any studio setups, artificial strobes, or rigid posing guides here. I prefer the moodiness of golden hour light or the quiet corners in places like Sunder Nursery and Humayun’s Tomb over anything staged or artificial.
My Approach: Real Over Perfect
I treat photography as an escape from MBA classes. My philosophy is pretty straightforward: the best photos happen when you forget I am there. I don't do stiff, unnatural posing. Instead, we walk, we talk, and I capture you as you are.
Where I Shoot
Delhi is my playground. I love finding hidden spots that offer interesting textures or beautiful, soft light. Whether it is the history at Qutub Minar, the greenery at Sunder Nursery, or just the vibe at India Gate, I use these locations to frame real stories. If you want to shoot at a heritage site, we plan it for the early morning to beat the crowds and catch that perfect, soft light.
The Reality of Working With Me
I want to be upfront: I am a student first. This means if exams or classes are hitting hard, I might be a little slower with the final edits. I don't do rushed, plastic-looking skin retouching, and I definitely don't do 'studio perfection'. What you get are color-graded, authentic photos that actually look like you. If you are cool with waiting a bit for quality, we will get along great.
