Garba Choreography & Navratri Workshop Classes in Navi Mumbai

The goal of my workshops is to make Garba accessible to everyone. Many students come to me thinking they have two left feet, but the reality is that Garba is about rhythm and the collective energy of the crowd. I teach in a studio environment in Navi Mumbai where we can focus on mirror practice, which is essential for checking your alignment and hand positioning. We cover everything from the basic dodhiya to more advanced spins and tempo changes. My sessions are structured to build your stamina, as playing Garba for hours requires more than just knowing the steps. I also help with track selection, ensuring you have the right beats for your personal practice. If you are preparing for a specific event or just want to learn for the festival, we start with the fundamentals and progress based on your individual comfort. We often work on popular tracks like Kanudo or Saibo re govadiyo to keep the energy high. My approach moves away from rigid learning and focuses on the flow. Once you have the basics, we integrate choreography that looks good in group settings. Whether you are joining as an individual or bringing your group for private choreography, the objective remains the same. You will leave these sessions ready to hit the ground running when the festival starts.
