About Festive Garba & Dandiya Workshops
You do not need to be a professional dancer to enjoy Garba or Dandiya. In my workshops, I break down the 2-step and 3-step moves so simply that even your non-dancing friends will be on the floor by the end of the session. We focus on matching the rhythm and having fun, not hitting perfect technical precision from day one.
When I step in for a Garba or Dandiya workshop, my goal is to break the ice instantly. These 90-minute sessions are designed to be high-energy and stress-free. I bring along an assistant so we can manage larger crowds, ensuring everyone gets attention, whether you are hosting a small group of friends for Navratri or a corporate flashmob.
We handle the music selection—a high-tempo mix of traditional folk and modern festive beats that keeps the energy in the room constant. If you are nervous about coordination, do not be. My teaching style uses 'itne pyaar se' (with so much love) to help you find your flow. We cover the core techniques, from traditional circular formations to interactive partner moves, and I ensure the energy stays like an MC to keep your guests engaged. It is not just about learning steps, it is about the 'masti' that comes with performing them. Whether it is at your home in Noida or a corporate venue, we make sure the workshop feels like a celebration, not a classroom.
