Wedding Sangeet Choreography & Show Direction
Training & Preparation
- Custom Choreography: Routines for 10 to 15 songs (2-3 mins each) designed for non-dancers and family members.
- Rehearsals: 10-14 days of in-person practice sessions at the client location or designated venue.
- Audio Production: Professional track mixing, adding sound effects or dialogues, and sequencing the final playlist.
Event Day Management
- Show Direction: Backstage management to ensure family members are lined up and entries are timed perfectly.
- Technical Cues: Coordination with DJ and light engineers for specific cues during performances.
- Props: Provision of standard dance props like colorful dupattas, sunglasses, placards, and umbrellas.
Concept Design
- Theme Planning: Ideation of storylines (e.g., Bollywood Journey, Retro Night) to stitch performances together.
- Couple Entry: Conceptualizing a specific dance-based entry for the Bride and Groom.

Entertainment Setup
- Live Band: Booking of a 4 to 6-piece professional Garba/Folk band (Vocals, Dhol, Octapad, Keyboards).
- Lead Dancers: Presence of Nidhi Jimulia plus assistants to lead the crowd and teach instant steps.
- Host/Emcee: One professional anchor to manage event flow, announce rounds, and maintain energy.
Technical & Production
- Sound System: PA system suitable for 200-500 pax, including stage monitors, mixer, and cordless mics.
- Backdrop: Standard printed flex backdrop (approx. 10x8 ft) with traditional themes.
- Lighting: Basic stage wash lighting (Halogen/PAR cans) for performer visibility.
Event Flow
- Sequence Design: Structuring the rounds from Slow Garba to Fast Garba, Dandiya, and Sanedo.
- Logistics: Management of artist entry, sound checks, and breaks.
- Dandiya Sticks: Provision of approx 20 pairs for the VVIP/Head table.

Mass Choreography
- Group Training: Batched training sessions for large groups (Schools, Societies, Corporate teams) for up to 6 distinct acts.
- Routine Design: Simple, high-impact formations designed for large groups of amateurs or children.
- Schedule: Structured rehearsal timeline spanning 3-4 weeks prior to the event.
Show Execution
- Stage Blocking: Organizing entry and exit flows for large groups to ensure zero dead air between acts.
- On-Day Supervision: Full supervision of the cultural segment execution on the event day.
- Vendor Coordination: Consultation for costumes and coordination with rental vendors (rentals paid by client).
Production Support
- Theming: Creation of a cohesive theme for the show (e.g., Colors of India).
- Audio Support: Creation of a continuous audio master track to prevent DJ manual errors.

My Story
Hey, I’m Nidhi - born and raised in Navi Mumbai, and totally desi at heart. Dance is my way of living, not just performing. You’ll find me twirling somewhere, maybe at Marine Drive or my studio, just soaking in the moment. I live for sharing happiness through dance, and honestly, my students end up becoming my friends. Got lucky with the Choreofeast award, but for me, it’s all about spreading good vibes and smiles.
