Professional Fashion Styling & Commercial Lookbooks
From high-voltage editorial covers to commercial campaigns, I focus on creating a visual story that feels authentic. Here is a look at my featured work across media and advertising.
Styling Dhvani Bhanushali for the Aza Fashions cover was all about creating a 'golden goddess' moment. I chose this exquisite Seema Gujral saree, with its intricate beadwork, to capture a look of pure desi glam and radiance for this high-fashion editorial shoot.
For Kiara Advani's Stayfree campaign, we wanted a look that was fresh, confident, and dynamic. This one-shoulder floral dress by Atsu Sekhose, paired with simple jewelry, created a beautiful sense of movement and effortless style for the ad shoot.
This look for Sara Ali Khan's Veet campaign was pure fun. The vibrant pink Mac Duggal dress with its oversized bow is playful and bold, perfectly matching the energetic vibe of the brand and the shoot's setting.
When styling Bhumi Pednekar for Versace watches, the focus was on sophisticated luxury. I paired a simple white halter top with statement vintage Versace earrings to draw attention to the elegant timepiece, creating a clean and classic commercial look.
For a BMW India event, I styled Bhumi Pednekar in this powerful and chic black gown from Qua Clothing. The goal was to create a look that reflected the brand's blend of modern luxury and classic elegance.
This is from my work with Bhumi Pednekar for the Nykd by Nykaa lingerie campaign. The styling here is all about relatability and comfort, using a simple open shirt to create a look that feels natural and authentic for their 'Comfiest Bras Ever' line.
Here's a glimpse of the final TV commercial I styled for Nykd by Nykaa, featuring Bhumi Pednekar. My role was to create distinct character looks, like this flight attendant uniform, to bring the campaign's fun and relatable story to life.
About this collection
People often see the final image and think styling is just about picking a nice outfit. The truth is that most of the work happens in the details, like using industrial steaming to remove every crease, clever pinning to ensure the fit is perfect on camera, and managing the logistics of dozens of garments. I focus on this technical side so the talent looks effortless and the campaign message hits home.
Behind the Scenes of a Shoot
Commercial and editorial styling is a mix of art and high-pressure logistics. Whether I am styling a magazine cover for Aza Fashions or a television commercial for a major brand, my priority is ensuring the clothing translates perfectly on screen. It is not just about the clothes, it is about how they move, how they catch the light, and how they define the character we are trying to build.
My Approach to Styling
- The Technical Polish: I spend hours in pre-production. This includes steaming, taping, and pinning to ensure clothes fit like they were made for the model. On a shoot day, I am constantly monitoring the monitor to fix flyaways or fabric bunching.
- Storytelling Through Clothes: Every look needs a narrative. For the Nykd by Nykaa campaign, the goal was comfort and relatability. For the BMW event, we went for high-end, classic elegance. I curate the wardrobe to support the brand's specific goals.
- Collaborative Workflow: Styling is a team sport. I work closely with photographers, makeup artists, and the brand's production team. My process relies on communication, ensuring that everyone is aligned on the visual language of the shoot.
