About Classic & Timeless Portraits
These sessions rely on dramatic, solid backgrounds and controlled studio lighting to remove distractions, keeping the focus entirely on your connection. You will not find busy props or distracting themes here. We use black and white or deep, rich tones to strip away the noise and capture the raw emotion in a way that feels just as relevant thirty years from now as it does today.
Photography trends come and go, but the connection between a parent and child is constant. This is why I focus on a classic, minimalist aesthetic for these heirloom sessions. By removing elaborate sets, we force the image to rely on the most important element: your family's bond.
Why Classic Portraits Matter
My approach is rooted in the idea of the family heirloom. These are not social media posts to be scrolled past; they are pieces of art meant to hang on your walls for decades. Whether we shoot in my Goregaon West studio in Mumbai or my Hinjawadi studio in Pune, the process remains the same. We focus on natural expressions, authentic embraces, and the quiet moments that often go unnoticed in the chaos of daily life.
The Process
We move slowly. I know that families, especially those with toddlers or newborns, need space to settle in. We might start with guided, classic poses, but the best shots usually come when you are laughing with your partner or comforting your child. The lighting is designed to be flattering and timeless, using soft shadows to add depth to your portraits. If you prefer black and white, we can strip away the color to highlight texture, emotion, and the shape of your love story.
My goal is to give you a collection of images that look as intentional and powerful years from now as they do today. Let us create a visual legacy that tells your family story with truth and simplicity.
