Why Black and White?

As a photographer, I have found that black and white photography has a unique way of freezing time. The Process

When we do a shoot, I often photograph with the end edit in mind. If you want a black and white look, I focus on:

• Light and Shadow: I use the natural window light in your living room or the soft glow in my studio to create depth.
• Textures: Without color, the texture of a soft sweater, a baby's skin, or the curls of a child's hair really pop.
