Whether I am prepping a singer for a high-energy concert or an actress for an outdoor shoot, I adjust my techniques to ensure the hairstyle holds through constant movement and the skin looks flawless under bright stage lights or harsh sunlight.
My journey at Narumugai started in my studio in Karur, but my love for experimentation eventually led me to celebrity styling. Working with artists like singer Saindhavi for concerts or actresses like Mirnalini Ravi and Poornima Ravi for photoshoots has been a thrill. These projects are unique because they demand versatility. For a concert, I focus on sweat-resistant HD makeup and hair that stays put while the artist performs. For a photoshoot, I shift my focus to how light interacts with the skin, using textures that look natural and radiant in high-definition captures.
I treat every face as a new canvas, whether you are a public figure or just want to try a high-fashion look. I do not believe in masking your features. Instead, I use my experience in SFX and bridal makeup to create looks that are bold but grounded. I am available to travel for these projects across cities including Chennai, Bangalore, Coimbatore, and Tiruchirappalli.
