About Traditional & Festive Backdrops
For our signature traditional backdrops, I combine fresh marigolds and jasmine with eco-friendly elements like banana leaves and woven mats. This natural approach creates a vibrant, fragrant environment that feels authentic to our customs. Whether you are hosting a small home pooja or a lively Haldi ceremony, this setup is designed to be compact and efficient without losing the charm of a grander celebration.
Bringing Tradition Home
I believe that decoration is not just about aesthetics; it is about creating a space where the divine feels welcome. When we set up for a traditional event, the goal is to respect the rituals. I use fresh flowers like Genda (marigold) and Mogra (jasmine) because their fragrance and color are central to the Indian festive spirit.
Common Setups We Create:
- Haldi & Mehendi: Bright, sunny yellow and orange themes using marigold garlands and drape backdrops that make your photos pop.
- Naming Ceremonies (Barasau): Delicate, soft themes featuring floral arches or traditional cradle (palna) setups, often using pastel fabrics and subtle greenery.
- Pooja & Ganpati: Authentic setups incorporating brass lamps (samay), banana leaves, and traditional rangoli patterns to ground the space.
Practical Details for Your Event Since I work primarily with home events, I understand space constraints. My standard backdrops are 8x8ft, which fit comfortably in most living rooms or balconies. I use pipe-and-drape structures that are stable, non-invasive to your walls, and quick to set up.
If you have a specific color theme or need a combination of fresh and artificial florals to manage your budget, just let me know. I can mix high-quality artificial roses with fresh leaves to give you a lush look that stays fresh all day. Everything I use is reusable or biodegradable where possible, because taking care of our surroundings is also a form of devotion.
