Beautiful, hand-woven backdrops made with fresh marigolds, banana leaves, and traditional elements to honor your family rituals with grace.

An eco-friendly backdrop crafted from intricately woven coconut leaves (thenga olai). The hanging marigold and tuberose garlands add a touch of color and fragrance, perfect for a traditional pooja or ceremony.

This backdrop is made entirely of fresh banana leaves, creating a lush, green canvas. The vertical garlands of marigold and jasmine add a classic festive element for any auspicious occasion.

A vibrant backdrop for a Seemantham or pooja. The grid pattern is filled with colorful marigolds and green panels, accented with traditional brass bells, creating a rich and textured look.

A closer look at the ornate throne-style chair I provide for ceremonies. Paired with a traditional marigold backdrop, it ensures the guest of honor feels truly special during the function.

This setup is perfect for a Haldi ceremony. It features a circular backdrop made of yellow chrysanthemums and a large brass urli in the center, ready for the rituals to begin.

An elaborate outdoor Haldi or Mehendi setup. The decor includes draped floral garlands, traditional brass urlis for the ceremony, and decorative spires, all set on a lush green lawn.

A beautiful floor decoration (or rangoli) made entirely of flower petals. This setup, featuring a traditional backdrop and brass pots, is designed for ceremonies where the rituals happen on the ground.

About this collection

You might see these backdrops and think they are simple, but the real work happens at the flower market before sunrise. We personally select every bunch of jasmine and marigold, and source authentic woven coconut leaves, because a traditional setup only looks divine if the materials are fresh and vibrant. When you book us, you are not just paying for the final look; you are paying for the effort we put into ensuring every element arrives in perfect condition, hours before your ceremony begins.

We specialize in the details that make a sacred ceremony feel authentic. Whether it is a Haldi, a Valaikappu, or a housewarming, we move away from synthetic materials and focus on natural, earthy elements that respect the tradition.

Our process relies on three things:

  • Fresh Florals: Real marigolds, tuberoses, and jasmine. These have a limited shelf life, which is why we time our setup perfectly so your backdrop is at its peak freshness when the rituals start. We do not use wilting or low-quality stock.
  • Natural Elements: We hand-weave coconut leaves (Thennai Olai) and use genuine banana trees to frame entrances, bringing that authentic festive look to your home.
  • Ceremonial Props: We provide brass urlis, traditional lamps (kuthu vilakku), and decorative pedestals to ground the ceremony in tradition.

We know cheaper decorators exist, but we prioritize quality and punctuality. If you are planning a ceremony, talk to us about the space you have—whether it is a compact pooja room or a full house entrance. We can adapt our designs to fit your requirements while maintaining the traditional aesthetic you want. If you are worried about whether your venue can accommodate specific backdrops, just let us know. We have worked in homes across Bangalore and can quickly tell you what will work best for your specific layout.
