Dance Workshops & Pop-ups: Join Me on the Road
Dance shouldn't be confined to four walls. From Bangalore to Delhi, I love taking my workshops to new cities, connecting with fresh faces, and finding rhythm wherever I land.
A throwback to my "Yeh Tune Kya Kiya" workshop in Bangalore. It gives me goosebumps to think about how many students I've taught this routine to across different cities.
"You smell like love." A moment of quiet reflection and dance on a beach in Goa. The ocean breeze and open space are the perfect backdrop for contemporary movement.
Announcing my very first workshop in Bangalore. This semi-classical piece was shot to promote the class, blending my love for dance with the beauty of a new city.
A quick dance to "Ye Ishq Haye" in Bengaluru. I love finding little corners to dance in wherever I go, bringing a bit of Bollywood magic to the city.
An outdoor dance session in front of the iconic Redbull office in Bangalore. It's always fun to take the dance out of the studio and into the world.
A collaboration in Bangalore on a "Chupke Se" choreography. Traveling allows me to meet and dance with so many talented artists.
Having a blast at a "Billo Rani" workshop in Bangalore. The energy of the students in a new city is always so refreshing and inspiring.
About this collection
You don't need years of classical training to join my pop-up workshops. My focus is entirely on expression, feeling the beat, and having fun with the routine, regardless of your dance background. Every session wraps up with a professional video shoot, so you leave with more than just sore muscles—you will have a reel-ready clip to show off on your socials.
I started these workshops because I wanted to bridge the gap between structured technique and pure, unadulterated joy. Whether I am in a professional studio in Bangalore or filming a spontaneous routine on a beach in Goa, the goal remains the same: thoda emotion, thoda masti (a bit of emotion, a bit of fun).
What to Expect
My sessions are designed as short, 2-hour dance parties. We usually nail one full routine, meaning you walk away with a complete choreography under your belt.
- Semi-Classical & Bollywood Fusion: We play with storytelling and grace. If you love those soulful tracks, this is the vibe.
- Zero-Judgment Zone: Mistakes are just part of the process. We laugh, we mess up, and we keep moving.
- The Takeaway: You get a raw, professionally shot video of your performance at the end of the day. It’s perfect for your Instagram feed or just to keep as a memory.
Locations & Travel
While I am based out of Athgaon in Guwahati, my love for movement takes me across the country. I frequently host pop-ups in Bangalore and other cities, hopping between local studios. If you represent a space or a group looking to host a workshop, drop me a message. Let’s create a space where we can all dance like no one is watching.
Naina Modi
Hi, I’m Naina. By day I’m a coder, but the moment I step into a studio—or a park, or a beach—I’m fully immersed in dance. I started Mad Studios to create a space where you can let go, make mistakes, and just have fun moving to the music.
