Our events operate on a simple, intimate scale where the mic is only ten feet away from your seat. Whether it's our weekly poetry nights or the comedy sets, you are never just an audience member; you are part of the conversation. Expect unreserved seating and a cozy setup that feels more like a friend’s living room than a standard performance venue.
Urban Solace started with a simple idea: to give local artists a home. For over 15 years, we have hosted everything from open mic comedy to unplugged music sessions. We do not believe in barriers between the performer and the crowd. Our setup includes a professional house PA system, a dedicated performance zone, and a warm atmosphere where applause carries just as much weight as the performance itself.
We are proud to be the birthplace of the city’s comedy scene with our 'LOL @ Urban Solace' nights and the home of India’s longest-running poetry event, 'Tuesdays with the Bard.' Whether you are a first-timer grabbing the mic for a ten-minute SoulStage slot or a regular attendee enjoying an evening of spoken word, you will find a supportive crowd.
We are located right by Ulsoor Lake. Our cafe serves as a wine bar and dining spot, meaning you can grab a meal while you watch the show. We offer flexible event packages, including 3-hour exclusive bookings for private groups, and we keep our ticketed and cover-charge events accessible to everyone. We welcome all voices, from queer artists celebrating their identity to new poets finding their footing. It is raw, it is acoustic, and it is entirely authentic.
