How We Build Your Living Wall
When we plan a vertical garden, we are not just thinking about aesthetics. We are thinking about structural integrity and long-term plant health. Our process begins with a site visit to assess light conditions and wall stability.
The Technical Build
- The Frame: We use an anti-rust MS (Mild Steel) grid anchored directly to your wall. This ensures the structure can hold the weight of dense foliage and wet soil for years.
- The System: We install UV-stabilized modules or geotextile pockets specifically designed for vertical root systems. This prevents root rot and keeps the plants well-aerated.
- Irrigation: This is where we save you time. Every installation comes with a digital timer, solenoid valves, and a pressure pump to ensure uniform water distribution. No manual watering cans are required.
Choosing Your Plants We do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. For indoor lobbies or shaded balconies, we use shade-tolerant exotics like Monsteras, Ferns, and Peace Lilies. If the wall is outdoors and faces harsh sunlight, we shift to hardy, sun-loving species. We aim for a high-density arrangement, typically installing 10 to 12 plants per square foot, so you get an instant 'full' look without waiting for growth.
Maintenance Because we build with automated systems, maintenance is minimal. We will show you how to check the timer and clean the drainage troughs. During our consultation, we can also discuss a periodic check-up schedule if you prefer a hands-off experience.
