Behind the Scenes of My Musical Journeys
From the quiet hills of Mussoorie to wedding courtyards in Khajuraho, I take my music wherever the stories happen. Here is a look at the stages I have stood on and the moments that make this journey special.

About Glimpses From My Journey
Every destination wedding has a unique soundscape, whether it is the open-air acoustics of a hill station or the enclosed echo of a hotel banquet hall. I prioritize a mandatory 60-minute sound check before every performance to ensure that the lyrics in my Musical Pheras are clear and the energy in my folk sets hits just right.
My work takes me across India, and with every new location—from a luxury property in Solan to a family living room—comes a new setup requirement. I don't just show up and play; I adapt my ensemble to the space. For intimate venues, I keep it to an acoustic duo with a cajon and guitar. For larger Sangeet nights or open-air festivals, I bring in my full band to ensure the sound reaches the back of the room.
Performing in diverse environments has taught me that the environment is part of the music. A sunset ceremony in the mountains needs a different touch than a high-energy cocktail hour. I document these moments not just as memories, but as part of my process. When I am at a venue like The Savoy in Mussoorie, I am already thinking about how the elevation and the crowd size will affect the sound mix. If you are planning an out-of-station event, know that I come prepared to handle the logistics so you can focus on the celebration. Whether it is a solo set or a 4-piece ensemble, my goal remains the same: ensuring the music feels like a natural part of the setting rather than an interruption.
