About Featured
My work here highlights the blend of bold Gulf patterns and fine-line Indian bridal details that I teach in my courses. When you look at these photos, notice the precision in the negative space and the flow of the motifs, which are the first things we focus on in my class sessions to ensure your henna stain turns out deep and beautiful.
Mastering the Art of Henna
Mehendi is more than just patterns on skin, it is a form of expression that requires practice and patience. In my Mumbra-based classes, we take the mystery out of the process.
What You Will See in This Gallery:
- Bridal Heavy Patterns: These represent the culmination of my Indian bridal course, where we focus on symmetry, cutwork, and dense floral layouts.
- Gulf & Arabic Styles: Look at the negative space and bold lines in these designs. This is exactly what we cover in my 2-month Dubai-style certification module.
- Student Progress: I am incredibly proud of my students. You will see examples of how they start with basic pencil-on-paper exercises and advance to creating beautiful, professional-level henna on hands and feet.
My Teaching Philosophy
Whether you are joining from Kausa, Mumbra, or taking my classes online, my goal is the same: to get you comfortable with the cone. We start by practicing shapes on paper, working up to laminated hand templates, and finally moving to live application. You do not need to be an expert to start. I have seen students who couldn't even draw a circle go on to create stunning, intricate designs.
Courses Available:
- Indian & Bridal Course (3 months): Deep dive into traditional techniques, cutwork, and bridal symmetry.
- Dubai & Gulf Course (2 months): Focus on Omani, Khaleji, and Doha styles using bold, flowy lines.
- Distance Learning: Perfect for those who want to learn online with digital assignment reviews and video guidance.
All courses come with a certificate upon completion. If you are nervous, I offer a free one-day bridal demo class so you can check out the teaching style and see if it is a good fit for you.
