About Featured

My favourite part about these designs is how they tell a story, whether it is a couple portrait or intricate jaal work. The secret to that rich, dark colour you see in the photos is my own organic henna mix, which I have perfected over 22 years. If you are looking for a design that is as deep in colour as it is in detail, let's discuss your vision.

My Approach to Mehndi Art

For me, mehndi is not just about lines on skin. It is about creating a connection. Whether I am working on a bridal commission or teaching students in my Kandivali studio, I focus on the balance between traditional motifs and modern artistry.

The Collection Breakdown

  • Bridal Storytelling: You will see a lot of narrative work in this gallery. I specialise in capturing couple portraits, wedding rituals, and intricate doli scenes. These designs require patience and steady hand control to ensure the proportions are perfect.
  • Traditional & Intricate: These are the designs that rely on the classic symmetry of peacocks, lotuses, and architectural jharokhas. It is the heart of Indian mehndi, and I make sure every curve is clean.
  • Arabic & Fusion: For those who want something lighter, I create modern floral patterns and Indo-Western fusion styles. I often use negative space techniques here to make the design pop against the skin.

Why the Colour Matters

I often hear clients worry about the stain. I use only natural, organic henna paste. When you see the dark, rich colour in these images, that is the result of using a quality product and knowing how to apply it for maximum saturation.

Want to Learn?

If you find yourself inspired by these photos and want to pick up the cone yourself, I conduct regular workshops. From zero-to-pro bridal courses to short crash courses in fusion styles, I teach the same techniques I use for my professional clients at my studio in Mumbai.
