A look into my world of intricate designs, deep stains, and the journey of my students as they master the art of mehendi in Mumbai.

This is a demonstration of a custom bridal portrait, a technique I teach in my advanced course. We start with a simple outline and build up layers of shading and detail to create a lifelike figure, turning henna into a personal story for the bride.

The best moment: celebrating with my certified students at the end of a batch. I keep my classes small at my Santacruz studio to ensure everyone gets the guidance they need to succeed and feel this proud of their new skills.

This is the work of one of my dedicated students after completing the course. Notice the clean lines, balanced composition, and intricate patterns, a huge transformation that shows what's possible with guided practice.

A glimpse into a typical day at my offline mehendi workshop. Here, students are getting comfortable with cone handling and practicing fundamental shapes on paper, the first step towards creating flawless designs.

The final result of a step-by-step tutorial I guide my students through. This design combines classic elements like the lotus and architectural dome with detailed filler patterns, teaching you how to create a full, professional forearm piece.

This is the kind of full bridal mehendi you can aspire to create. In my classes, I cover how to design and apply these large-scale, intricate pieces, including traditional motifs like elephants, peacocks, and classic jaal work.

Precision is key in mehendi, and I focus on teaching techniques for perfect line work. This close-up shows how to create delicate leaves and vines, a fundamental skill for adding elegance to any henna design.

Mehendi is all about personalization. I teach my students how to incorporate unique elements into traditional designs, like this fun request for a cat and a Batman logo, making the art truly special for the client.

About Featured

What you see here is a mix of my professional bridal work and the progress of my students. Whether I am creating a custom skyline design for a bride or teaching a participant how to perfect a lotus motif, the focus is always on using triple-sifted Rajasthani henna for a rich, dark stain. I keep my classes in Vakola small because mastering pressure control and clean line flow happens best when you have the space to practice on actual layout sheets under direct, individual guidance.

This collection represents the heart of my work in Santacruz East. You will find a variety of styles, from traditional Indian motifs like peacocks and elephants to modern, personalized requests including initials, portraits, and even logos. The gallery highlights two main pillars of my practice: my bridal commissions and the rapid growth of students in my workshops.

My Approach to Training

My classes are designed to be hands-on and immersive. We move step by step, starting with basic cone handling and pressure control, then advancing to complex figure work like bride and groom profiles. Students learn to practice on acrylic hands and paper before moving to live skin. This ensures that when you finish a course, you have the confidence to handle professional-level requests. My batches are capped at 8 people to ensure every student learns how to mix their own natural henna paste, which is the secret behind the long-lasting stains you see in these images.

Why Learn in Person

Mehendi is a physical art form. You need to feel the resistance of the cone and the flow of the paste. In my studio, we use traditional floor seating to simulate real-world scenarios you will face as a professional. Whether you are looking to book me for your wedding or join a session to start your own journey, you are getting techniques refined through years of daily practice. My goal is to equip you with the skills to turn mehendi into a profession or a serious hobby.

I am Samiksha, and for me, mehendi is where stories come alive. I live for the moment a bride sees her deep, dark stain, and I love passing that skill on to students in my Mumbai studio. Let's make something beautiful together.
