When you ask for a custom initial or calligraphy design, I don’t just trace it. I map out the placement on your hand to make sure the flow matches your natural lines so it does not look like a stiff sticker.
I get a lot of requests for designs that are not standard bridal mandalas. Maybe you want your partner’s name hidden in the pattern, a specific Urdu phrase, or a monogram that feels personal. That is exactly what this gallery is about.
Working on calligraphy requires extra precision with the cone. You need a steady hand and a deep understanding of how the henna will spread once it settles. If you bring me a specific design or font, I will tell you realistically how it will look on your skin. Some designs need a bit of adaptation to make sure they are readable and beautiful once the stain develops.
Whether it is a small initial or a full phrase, I prioritize keeping the lines clean. I use natural, chemical-free henna for all my work. This means the stain starts orange and deepens to that rich maroon over 48 hours. If you are planning to get a custom design, please share your ideas at least a few days in advance so I can practice the layout. Let’s create something that looks like it belongs on your hand.
