About My DJ Fam & Collaborations
When you book my crew, you aren't just getting me on the console. Team Monkz handles the entire technical backbone—sound, consoles, and lighting—so there is zero lag or stress during the transition between my DJ set and our live percussion acts.
The energy on stage depends on the chemistry between the person behind the deck and the crew working the floor and the percussion. My shows are built on this. Whether it is a sangeet, a campus fest, or a massive festival, I bring the same core team that understands my mix—from the house beats to the heavy Chenda drops.
The Monkz Calicut Standard
My crew, Team Monkz, runs the production. This is crucial for fusion sets. We aren't just plugging in a laptop. We manage festival-grade sound reinforcement, intelligent lighting trusses, and stage FX like confetti cannons. When we perform, the Chenda rhythm has to sync perfectly with the electronic pad. That only happens when the team behind the console knows the setlist inside out.
Why Collaboration Matters
My sound is a fusion—Malayalam, Tamil, and Bollywood mixed with big-room house and folklore beats. Bringing in collaborators like Vedan or live violinists changes the dynamic of the crowd. It moves the event from being just a dance floor to a live concert experience.
What to Expect
We arrive early, set up the full rig, and sound-check to make sure the bass hits right. My team stays until the last beat drops. We don't do background music.
