About this collection
When I’m on a college stage, it’s not just a playlist; it’s a full production setup. I bring my own team to manage the console, lighting, and smoke effects, so you don't have to worry about the technical heavy lifting. Whether it's a fresher's party or a massive college fest, we build the set around the crowd's energy, blending EDM with local beats to keep the students jumping until the final track.
College fests are a different beast compared to weddings or clubs. The crowd is younger, louder, and they want that immediate release. I’ve played at everything from intimate freshers' mixers to massive union inaugurations across Kerala, and the goal is always the same: turn the campus grounds into a full-blown music arena.
The Setup We Bring
I don’t show up solo. My DJ FAM handles the production—massive LED screens, stage lighting, and confetti cannons to make the stage look as big as it feels. We bring professional-grade sound reinforcement to ensure the bass hits the back of the crowd, not just the front row. We focus on that 'Chembanda' vibe—a mix of high-tempo electronic tracks and raw, percussive Chenda rhythms that students in Kerala absolutely love.
Interactive Sets
My sets are open-format, shifting from Bollywood and Commercial hits to high-tempo EDM and Techno. I’m on the mic, engaging directly with the crowd, calling out, and reading the room to see what’s getting people hyped. If the crowd needs a break, we slow it down, but mostly, we keep the tempo high. We want everyone from the front row to the back of the auditorium jumping.
Technical Needs
Whether your college has an open-air ground or an indoor auditorium, we configure the audio to suit the space. I use the Pioneer Nexus range for mixing, ensuring seamless transitions even when jumping between genres. We need a clear stage area and stable power access, but my team handles the rest of the cabling and stagecraft. This lets your student organizers focus on the other logistics of the fest, knowing the sound and stage setup is being handled by professionals who know how to work a campus crowd.
