I don't do stiff poses or plain backgrounds. My style is about capturing the raw energy of Mumbai, using natural light and city textures to make your portraits look like stills from a film.

A portrait session near Mumbai's colonial architecture. I used the leading lines of the stairs and the soft, overcast light to frame the subject and create a pensive, cinematic mood.

A night portrait taken on the streets of Mumbai for a realme campaign. The subject is lit by the ambient city lights, with the background blurred to create a beautiful bokeh effect and keep the focus on her expression.

This portrait was shot at night in Mumbai, using the blurred lights of the city to create a dreamy backdrop. The goal was to capture a portrait that shines, even in low light conditions.

A heartfelt silhouette of a father and child against a golden sunset at the beach. This image is all about emotion and capturing a fleeting, joyful moment.

A more interactive and dynamic portrait from the same session. The hand reaching towards the camera adds a layer of engagement and breaks the fourth wall, making the viewer feel present.

A close up portrait with the bustling Mumbai streetscape softly blurred in the background. The warm tones and the subject's gentle smile create a welcoming and authentic feel.

A close up portrait from the same night shoot. Here, the focus is entirely on the subject's gaze, using the warm background lights to add depth and atmosphere.

A wide angle portrait taken from a low perspective. This creative angle makes the scene feel more dramatic and immersive, capturing both the subject and the grand architecture behind her.

A candid feeling portrait from the night shoot. The subject's natural expression and the soft bokeh of the streetlights in the background create a relaxed and authentic city vibe.

A direct and engaging portrait from the night session. The subject is looking straight at the camera, creating a strong connection with the viewer, while the city lights add a touch of magic.

About Cinematic & Moody Portraits

I don't do stiff studio poses. My portrait style is about grabbing that specific 'vibe'—the blur of Mumbai’s street lights, the texture of old walls, and that golden hour moment when the light hits the skyline just right. We usually spend the first twenty minutes just walking around and finding the right location before we even lift the camera, which is exactly how we get those natural, cinematic frames you see here.
