About Hyper-realistic Artwork
Why Hyper-realism?
Art is everything to me. I grew up in namma Udupi and taught myself to draw by obsessing over each tiny detail. My thing is making hyper-realistic art that looks just like a hi-res photo, whether it’s a movie star or a street-side chai glass.
What I Draw
- Custom realistic portraits: Bollywood faces, your family, or even your pet - I try to catch the vibe and expression, not just the lines.
- Cultural traditional artwork: I love sketching Theyyam and Yakshagana scenes, and anything from Tulunad that reminds me of home. You’ll spot influences from local legends and Daivaradhane rituals in my pieces.
- 3D illusion sketch art: Sometimes I mess around with perspective, making stuff look like it’s popping right out of the page.
- Wildlife hyperrealism painting: Tigers, snakes, birds - I focus on getting the fur, feathers, or scales perfect.
- Click and Draw series: Give me a photo of something random (even a ₹500 note!), and I’ll try to recreate it, every shadow and shine.
My Process
Mostly I use charcoal, graphite, or colour pencils, and for paintings, it’s usually acrylics. I’ll even paint on pebbles if I’m in the mood. No shortcuts, just a lot of patience and staring at reference pics till my eyes hurt.
If you want a piece that feels real, or something that brings a bit of Tulunad to your wall, I’d love to work on it.

My Story
Hey, Mithun here. I never went to those big art schools, just me, my sketchbook, and a lot of trial and error. Started with charcoal sketches of actors like The Rock and Kiccha Sudeep, then got hooked on VFX and digital stuff. My roots are Tulunad, Udupi – so you’ll spot Yakshagana and Kantara tribute painting in my work. Sometimes it’s a huge canvas, sometimes a pebble. Art is my way of showing where I’m from. Jai Hanuman.
My Work
Custom Pencil & Charcoal Sketches - I do pencil sketches, charcoal portraits, and hyper-realistic charcoal sketches. Just share a photo, I’ll draw it.
Digital Art & Yakshagana Vector Illustration - I make digital paintings, vector art, and Yakshagana vector illustration. Good for brands or modern portraits.
Pebble Art & Unique Forms - I paint tiny pebble art portraits, and sometimes do fun stuff like face painting.
Miniature VFX Animation - I create short visual effects videos and miniature VFX animation, mixing real and digital magic.
