Creative Storytelling Workshops for Kids

In our workshops, it is not just about sitting still and listening. Every session includes a hands-on component where children build their own puppets or props, followed by a final performance where they use voice modulation to bring their characters to life. It is a 12.5-hour deep dive held over five days, perfect for building confidence and creative expression in small, attentive groups of 8 to 12 children.

Storytelling is our way of getting kids to look up from screens and into their own imaginations. Whether we are exploring 'Nautical Narratives' or getting into the chill of 'Frosty Fables', the focus remains on the doing.

Our Workshop Flow

We follow a structured 5-day journey:

• Days 1-2 (The Spark): We start by listening to folktales using traditional Kamishibai frames and puppets. This builds focus and introduces narrative arcs.
• Days 3-4 (The Craft): This is the messiest, best part. We guide kids to design their own props and characters, drawing on their unique artistic style.
• Day 5 (The Stage): We wrap up with a child-led performance. It is not a formal recital, but a celebration where every kid gets to show off their storytelling voice.

We host these at partner studios across Bangalore, including cozy spots in Malleswaram and JP Nagar. Keeping our groups small ensures every child gets individual attention for their voice modulation—whether they need to practice their 'whisper' or their 'roar'. We truly believe that if a child has not experienced a story through action, they have not really understood it. Come, let’s make some stories!
