About this collection
Think of this as your mid-week recharge. You don't need to be a polished dancer to join us at La-Fro Nights; you just need to be ready to have fun. We rotate partners throughout the night, so even if you walk in solo, you’ll end up dancing with half the room by the time the night is over.
It’s not just about the steps you learned in class; it’s about the freedom of the social floor. Every Wednesday, we take over the floor at 1522 The Pub for our La-Fro Nights. Whether you’re a total beginner who just wants to soak in the energy or an intermediate dancer looking to practice your shines and turns, this is your space.
We play a mix of Salsa, Bachata, and Kizomba, and the environment is entirely non-judgmental. If you’ve only ever practiced with your batchmates, this is the perfect next step to get comfortable dancing with different partners. There is no pressure to perform, just come to groove, meet new people, and leave the corporate stress outside the door. We believe that dance is a language of connection, and there is no better way to learn that than in a real, live social setting. If you’re nervous about showing up alone, don’t be—everyone here is part of the Motley crew and we’re always happy to welcome new faces to the floor.
