Digital Graffiti Sketches & Custom Character Concept Design
Before the spray paint hits the wall, it all starts right here. These are my digital sketches and character concepts where I map out the vibe, color, and flow for every piece.
This is how I design character-themed graffiti on my iPad. Watch as I sketch out the letters and then bring them to life with Naruto's signature colors and style.
A quick process video showing how a 'Batman' graffiti sketch on my iPad is developed into a full-color digital piece, ready for a real wall.
A side-by-side comparison of my digital graffiti concepts for Batman and Itachi. Each one is designed to capture the character's unique personality and color scheme.
An illustration I made for Ganesh Chaturthi. I wanted to create a cute, modern take on Bappa, which I later painted as a mural with an AR filter.
My graffiti-style take on Lord Krishna for Janmashtami. I imagined him as a mischievous artist, "stealing hearts just like he stole butter."
The final digital design for an Itachi Uchiha graffiti piece. I incorporated his Mangekyo Sharingan and signature crows into the lettering.
A digital mock-up of my Naruto graffiti piece on a concrete wall. This helps me visualize how the final mural will look in a real-world environment.
The completed digital design for my Batman graffiti. The Bat-Signal shines from within the letters, creating a cool focal point.
Another mock-up of the Naruto graffiti piece. I love adding small details like the ramen bowl to really bring the character's world into the art.
About Digital Sketches & Concepts
Before I hit a wall with spray paint, it all starts right here on my iPad. These aren't just drafts, they are where I test how character energy—like Naruto’s Ramen or Batman’s signal—fits with my lettering. Whether you need a mural design or a one-of-a-kind character concept, this digital stage is where we nail the vibe before the final piece hits your wall or canvas.
Think of these sketches as the blueprint for the real thing. When I am planning a large-scale mural or a custom commission, I use my iPad to figure out the composition first. This way, we are not guessing on site. I look at color palettes, character expressions, and how the graffiti letters flow around the subject.
The Process
Once the concept is solid, I take this digital mock-up and use my 'doodle grid' technique to scale it up perfectly onto the actual wall. If it is for a canvas, the digital file helps me map out the layering for 3D pieces. Whether you want a Bappa illustration with an AR filter, a classic superhero theme, or something totally new, we start by brainstorming here.
It saves time and keeps the creative energy flowing. You get to see exactly what you are getting before a single drop of paint touches your surface. Let us collaborate on a design that is truly apna (your own).
