3D Pop Culture Art: Custom Graffiti and Layered MDF Sculptures
I take icons like Popeye and Sonic and make them jump off the wall. Using CNC-cut wood and spray paint, I build layered art that gives your space a serious 3D graffiti edge.

About 3D Pop Culture Art
Getting a 3D piece right is about more than just color. I precision-cut multiple layers of MDF to create physical depth, then seal every piece with heavy-duty varnish so the lines stay sharp and the paint doesn't chip. Since these are custom-built, expect the fabrication and painting process to take a bit of time to get the edges and shadows perfect before it lands on your wall.
How I Build My 3D Pop Culture Art
It is not just a poster or a flat canvas. When you order a 3D piece, we are creating a sculptural object. I start by breaking down characters—whether it is a classic like Popeye or a gaming legend like Sonic—into layers.
I use CNC-cut wood for the base, which allows me to play with actual height and shadow. Once the layers are assembled, I hit them with high-grade aerosol sprays and acrylic markers. This is where the street art fusion happens; I mix the clean lines of the character with raw, graffiti-style backgrounds, drips, and tags to make the piece feel like it belongs in the streets of Mumbai, not just a gallery.
Customization and Setup
- Character Choice: You want a superhero, an anime character, or a retro cartoon? Just tell me the idea. We can jam on the composition together.
- Installation: These pieces are solid and come ready to hang. Each one includes a heavy-duty French cleat system on the back, so they mount securely and sit perfectly flat against your wall.
- Protection: Because these involve layered MDF and detailed hand-work, I seal everything with UV-resistant varnish. It keeps the colors popping for years.
