The Creative Process: From Sketch to Spray

Every mural has a story that starts way before the first spray. Here is a look at the sketches, the messy hands, and the long hours I put in to turn blank walls into art.

A video capturing the struggle and triumph of being an artist. It shows me working on a challenging illusion-based artwork, reminding us that despite the hardships, we warriors still rise.

This video shows me painting a graffiti piece with a tree growing right in front of it. It's a look at how I adapt to the environment and incorporate natural elements into my urban art.

A shot from the perspective of the spray can, showing the artwork coming to life. The Flame Blue can is one of my go-to tools for its low pressure and control.

My hand, covered in pink paint, holding a spray can. Getting your hands dirty is an unavoidable and beautiful part of the painting process.

About this collection

People usually see just the finished mural, but the real work happens in the jamming phase. Whether it's a 3D wildstyle piece or a nature-inspired mural, I always start with a digital sketch. If you have a wall in mind, we don't just spray; we align on the layout and color palette first. I’ll walk you through the mockup, then we hit the wall with high-grade paints—like Flame or Montana—to ensure it lasts, whether it’s indoors or on a rough exterior surface.

Behind the Wall

Graffiti isn't just about throwing color on a wall. It’s about understanding the canvas. Before I even touch a spray can, I assess the surface—is it raw concrete, painted plaster, or metal? Each requires different prep. For outdoor facades, I ensure the surface is solid. For furniture or wood, I sand and prime it to make sure the paint holds for years.

The 'Wildstyle' Approach

When we talk about 3D wildstyle or Devanagari script, the focus is on depth and optical illusion. I use low-pressure spray cans to get those crisp, clean lines that make letters look like they are popping off the wall. It’s a technical game of geometry and color density.

Why the Process Matters

  • Collaboration: I don't just show up and paint. We jam. You give feedback on the sketch, I adjust, and only then we proceed.
  • Materials: I use premium imported paints (Flame/Montana) because they offer better flow and UV resistance than standard hardware store sprays. It makes a huge difference in how the colors hold up against the Delhi sun.
  • The 'Mistake' Philosophy: If a line goes rogue, I don't see it as a failure. In street art, you adapt. A slip of the can often turns into a new character detail or a shadow effect. I bring that same creative agility to your project.

Whether it's a commercial space in a busy market or a personal wall in your bedroom, the goal is the same: to inject some soul into the architecture. We start with the idea, refine the vision, and then execute with precision.
