Always Learning: Dog Training Seminars & Workshops
I don't just teach dogs; I keep learning the science behind the sport. From international IGP seminars to K9 handler workshops, I am committed to evolving my craft.
A group photo from an incredible seminar on IGP sport with renowned German trainer Jurgen 'Jogi' Zank. It's an honor to learn from and train with the best in the world.
During a classroom session at the IGP training seminar. Understanding the theory and science behind dog training is just as important as the practical fieldwork.
My mentor and I listening to insights from international expert Jurgen 'Jogi' Zank. Continuous learning is a non-negotiable part of being a top-tier trainer.

It's a privilege to share what I've learned with others. Here, I'm conducting an interactive session with a group of handlers, likely from a police or security unit.
Teaching and learning are two sides of the same coin. During this session, I had the opportunity to demonstrate techniques and also learn from the experiences of the handlers present.
Demonstrating proper handling and communication techniques to a group of uniformed handlers. My goal is to improve the working relationship between handlers and their K9 partners.
All the hard work and learning pays off. Here I am at the IAMS HyCAN Obedience 2022 show, celebrating multiple wins, including a first-place trophy.
About Always Learning: Seminars & Workshops
When I host a workshop or attend a seminar, the goal isn't just to talk, it's to break down the science of IGP, PSA, and bite mechanics so that other trainers and handlers can actually implement what they've learned in the field. Most people see a trained dog, but don't see the years of study and the specific adjustments needed to get that level of performance.
The Science Behind the Sport
'Mainu hamesha seekhde rehna chahida' (I must always keep learning). That is my philosophy. Training isn't just about repetition; it is about understanding the psychology of the dog. Whether I am training under world-renowned experts like Jurgen 'Jogi' Zank or sharing my own methods with police K9 units, my focus remains on the technical 'why' of dog training.
What I Teach
My seminars and workshops are designed for those who want to move beyond basic obedience. We focus on:
- IGP & PSA Sport Foundation: Understanding the precision and control required for ring sports. We dissect every move, focusing on 'Perfect Practice' to prepare both dog and handler.
- Bite Mechanics: Teaching handlers how to build a full, calm mouth grip using jute pillows and sleeves without causing unnecessary stress.
- K9 Handling Skills: I work with security and police units to improve the communication between the handler and the K9 partner. This covers scenario-based drills, distraction proofing, and real-world deployment readiness.
Why Join My Workshops?
If you attend one of my sessions, you will not get fluffy theory. You get raw, hands-on demonstrations. We talk about food drive, engagement, and how to use positive reinforcement to get a dog that wants to work with you, not one that is forced to comply. I believe in full transparency—I share my successes at events like the IAMS HyCAN Obedience show, but I also share the daily struggle of the 'mehnat' (hard work) required to build a protection-ready dog. If you are serious about your dog’s potential, or if you are a fellow trainer looking to sharpen your skills, let's get to work.

Mainu hamesha seekhde rehna chahida (I must always keep learning). Whether I’m training under an international expert or sharing my methods with a police K9 unit, I’m obsessed with the science of dog behavior. Training isn't a static job for me; it's a field where you either evolve or get left behind.
