Custom Furniture and Statement Home Features
Real luxury is not found in a catalog. It is defined by furniture and structural features built specifically for the way you live.
Our viral statement bar unit is more than just furniture; it's a piece of kinetic sculpture. Located in the lounge of a Mumbai duplex, the pod-like structure slides open to reveal a fully stocked bar, complete with a mirrored counter. It’s a testament to innovative design and functional art.
This video shows the making of our cylindrical bar unit, from a simple wooden cylinder to a stunning piece of furniture. The process reveals the craftsmanship behind the grey ombré fluted exterior and the metallic interior, turning a concept into a sophisticated reality.
Here, I'm showcasing one of our custom-designed bar units. This tall, cylindrical piece features a captivating grey ombre finish on fluted detailing, with a metallic interior for an industrial-chic touch. It’s a striking focal point for any party spot in the house.
Nobody ever has enough storage. In this duplex, we transformed the space beside the staircase into a large, concealed pull-out storage unit. The green facade is designed to look like a single piece of art, seamlessly merging functionality with a bold design statement.
Design is about solving problems beautifully. We concealed an awkward duct in this living room corner, turning it into a hidden storage unit for home essentials. The seamless panel provides easy access to plumbing lines while maintaining a clean aesthetic.
This video documents the challenging but rewarding process of creating our custom resin chairs. From failed attempts to the final stunning result, it shows the months of research, experimentation, and perseverance required to turn a visionary idea into a tangible, sculptural piece of furniture.
Our custom resin chairs were a labor of love. This video highlights the transparency, color, and character they bring to this lounge space. It was a journey of trial and error, but the stunning outcome proves the value of experimental design.
This video shows the intricate process of creating our veneer marquetry crockery unit. From pressing the precisely cut veneer pieces to assembling the 11-foot tall pocket doors, it’s a look at how we blend an ancient art form with modern engineering.
The main entrance sets the tone for the entire home. For this penthouse, we designed a sleek, matte black door with wave-like curves and the owners' names engraved. It’s a statement piece that hints at the luxurious, contemporary design within.
A closer look at the custom-designed main door. The matte black finish and sculptural, wave-like forms create a powerful first impression, blending security with high design.
About Statement Features & Custom Craftsmanship
Custom furniture solves spatial challenges that off-the-shelf items simply cannot address. My resin chairs, for instance, required months of experimentation and over 60kg of resin to perfect. Creating pieces from scratch is a demanding process, but it guarantees you receive something engineered specifically for your home's geometry and your personal needs.
True comfort comes from items designed for the way you live. When I approach custom work, I am not just creating a shape; I am solving a problem.
Consider the bar unit featured here. It is not merely a cabinet for spirits; it is a kinetic sculpture designed to slide open and create a focal point in a duplex lounge. That kind of precision can only be achieved by building from the ground up.
Then, there is the matter of functional clutter. We often encounter awkward spaces, like a living room corner occupied by a structural duct, that interrupt the flow of a room. Rather than working around these intrusions, we design seamless storage units that conceal them entirely, turning a dead-end into useful space.
Whether we are engineering 11-foot tall pocket doors for a dining area or casting resin into a sculptural chair, my team and I focus on the why before the what. We use advanced materials and engineering, like birch plywood for stability or specific resin mixtures for clarity, to ensure that every feature is not only visually striking but technically sound.
If you are building a home, my advice is to avoid the rush to fill space with catalogue items. Take the time to identify what your home actually needs, whether that is a hidden pantry, a statement entrance, or a piece of furniture that tells a story. When the architecture and the interior features speak the same language, the result is a sanctuary that feels inherently yours.
