About Awards & Recognition
The Evelyn penthouse, which earned the title of India’s Best Design Project, was not built to win awards. It was built for three generations of a family, with every floating staircase and hand-painted mural serving a specific, lived-in purpose. This recognition serves as a confirmation that even the most ambitious, bespoke concepts can become comfortable, enduring homes when they are designed around the people who actually live there.
A Recognition of Process
Winning India’s Best Design Project 2024 for the Evelyn duplex was a surreal moment, but the true joy lies in the journey that got us there. My design philosophy has always been to prioritize functional luxury over showy trends. When we designed this 4,200 sq. ft. penthouse in Mumbai, our goal was simple: to create a sanctuary where the architecture supports the family's daily rhythms.
